What is Chair Yoga?

Yoga itself is a physical and mental practice that combines movement, breath control, and mindfulness to improve flexibility, strength, and relaxation.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga done while seated or using a chair for support. It makes yoga accessible to people with limited mobility, balance issues, or those who just want a less physically demanding practice—offering many of the same benefits without needing to get on the floor.

Where is it available?

Every Wednesday 1:00 at Aldie United Methodist Church, 39325 Little River Tpke in Aldie, in the Pinky and Stanley Rice Social Hall.

Sometimes she brings along a shelter dog that needs a break from FOHA, a local dog rescue

No payment is required; but you may contribute a free-will offering in the box at the entrance. Funds go towards defraying expenses for the church and Erin’s favorite causes. Please join us every Wednesday for this special social and wellness event.
