What is Chair Yoga?

Yoga is a physical and mental practice that combines movement, breath control, and mindfulness to improve flexibility, strength, and relaxation.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga done while seated or using a chair for support. It makes yoga accessible to people with limited mobility, balance issues, or those who just want a less physically demanding practice, offering many of the same benefits - and some unique advantages! -without needing to get on the floor or wearing any special clothes.

Where is it available?

Every Wednesday 1:00 at Aldie United Methodist Church, 39325 Little River Tpke in Aldie, in the Pinky and Stanley Rice Social Hall.
