We Need Members

Let's Face It

Aldie UMC is a small church. Small churches are struggling and failing across our nation. We welcome everybody - of course - but stated plainly, WE NEED NEW MEMBERS!

We are surviving financially with great help from our community, and for that we are eternally grateful, And we support our community. But let's face it -  our numbers are too small for us to be able to give back to the community in a more meaningful way.

If you've driven by and wondered, wonder no longer. We need you and we ask you to join us. We'll probably put you to work on something, but you won't regret it.

Who We Are

Our Passion is to help lives be transformed in Jesus Christ. We are a small, welcoming congregation open to everyone. We engage in our community and welcome all who wish to worship with us.

Sunday worship is 10:00 AM. All are welcome.

What We Believe

The United Methodist Church is a worldwide church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world. John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today. We try to live by the Methodist Social Principles and take an active  and engaged role seeking justice and liberty.
