Aldie United Methodist Church
Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors
“To reach out to the community in love, compassion and understanding by offering a place to worship, pray and hear the word of God. To provide an opportunity for fellowship and spiritual growth. To support missionary projects in our county, our country and abroad.”
Who We Are
Our Passion is to help lives be transformed in Jesus Christ. We are a small, welcoming congregation open to everyone. We engage in our community and welcome all who wish to worship with us.
On June 6, 2021 in-person services joyfully resumed after well over a year of shutdown. During this time, virtual services were held and an archive of them is here. Sunday service are 10:00; certain COVID precautions are still in place. All are welcome.
What We Believe
The United Methodist Church is a 12.6-million-strong global church that opens hearts, opens minds and open doors through active engagement with our world. John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today. We try to live by the Methodist Social Principles and take an active and engaged role seeking justice and liberty. You are welcome to join in one or more of our Ministries:
